Yeah Parallels is good, although i only use it for my scanner (which doesn't run on os x) The only thing with Parallels is that it's very resource intensive, other than that it's gr8

uhm, i dont know it depends on which version of OSX you're running
1GIG total would assume that your virtual os would get 512mb ram max which leaves only 512mb ram for your native os ... which is too low for leopard i think, not sure though
i have 2GIGS total; and i can run most apps smoothly ... stuff like office 2007 runs very good.
